David Helfgott @ Hollmann Beletage

Australian pianist David Helfgott has become a regular guest at our Hollmann Beletage.
He is currently staying with us and he will be playing a concert tonight at 7:30pm at the Wiener Konzerthaus. This concert is unfortunately already sold out.

But you can still enjoy him play! Watch this video with Mr. Helfgott playing piano in our living room, recorded yesterday afternoon:

The great 1996 movie "Shine" portrayed the life of David Helfgott. Actor Geoffrey Rush, who played Mr. Helfgott, won 1 Academy Award for best actor and the movie received 8 nominations! Watch the trailer here:
